Who we are

Your Forever Memory is an online memorial book platform operated in the United Kingdom. We provide funeral homes with a dignified digital space for families to share tributes, view funeral notices, and order printed memorial books. Our website is yourforevermemory.co.uk.

What information we collect

We collect information in the following circumstances:

  • Tribute submissions — name, message, and any photos you choose to share when leaving a tribute on a memorial book.
  • Print orders — name, delivery address, and payment details (processed securely via PayPal — we do not store card numbers).
  • Contact form — name, email address, and the message you send us.
  • Funeral home accounts — email address, hashed password, and notification preferences for funeral directors using our platform.
  • Analytics — anonymised usage data via Google Analytics 4 (page views, traffic sources, session duration). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

How we use your information

  • To display approved tributes on the relevant memorial book page.
  • To fulfil and deliver printed memorial book orders.
  • To respond to enquiries submitted via the contact form.
  • To send funeral directors notification emails about new tributes and orders.
  • To improve the platform through anonymised analytics.

Cookies

We use a cookie consent banner to obtain your permission before loading any analytics cookies. Essential cookies (session management, security) are used without consent as they are strictly necessary for the site to function. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

Data retention

Memorial notices and approved tributes are retained for as long as the funeral home account remains active. Print order records are retained for seven years for accounting purposes. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to processing of your data.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
